Mini haul and new hair

So i bought a fair few bits today, time will tell if I like them or not but let's start with nail varnish as I know I will like all of these colours
All Barry M varnish, I do like these I think you get what you pay for with all the colours and that they don't need that many coats for a good coverage. The only thing I don't like is the fact that they go "tacky" very quickly and then become unusable.

Had to put these three feltip liners since I am going on a eyeliner binge. These are from Collection, the purple and the blue looks dissapointing but the teal... Well that just looks sexual and can't wait to try!!! These was £2.89 each how could I not get all three at this price!

I absolutely love the real techniques brushes they are so nice to use and are worth the money so guys splash out on some brushes these will never dissapoint!

Last but not least on the purchases, I got this concealer from Collection as everyone raves about it so we will see what I think as I normally use benifits erase paste so a cheaper concealer would be very appreciated.

And here is a sneaky photo of my hair got my ombré back in my hair and I love it!! Perfect for summer

Reviews will be posted on all my purchase, very excited for the teal eyeliner :)

 goooood night xxx

The day off

have book a couple days off from work but they are kind of spread out, so I am off today but then back at work tomorrow then I'm off for two more days, it's crazy and makes no sense to why I have done it this way.

I woke up about half seven but me and luna laid in bed till about half nine, just catching up on vlogs I watch (I had lots to catch up on)

For breakfast I wasn't too hungry and I didn't have a lot of food in, I really need to go food shopping (lame!) so I just had an apple but luna doesn't mind her normal doggie biscuits any time of the day.

Today I am going to be going shopping with my sister who also does a blog called makeup by ReRe so check out that if your intrested but we will be makeup shopping and then in gonna go get my hair done, don't know what I'm doing with it yet but I will be sure to post after I have done it and I am will probably do a haul also. Untill then think me and luna are going to hang on the sofa and then I'll take her for a little walk before I go anywhere.

Outfit of the day

One of my summer work outfits, great for when I have meetings and keeping me cool from the heat of the day and the pressure of the meetings (ha).

Very simple, white/creamy dress with black hearts. I really like this dress I bought it from new look last year, it has split at the bottom of the dress so I have to be carful when I get out my car and when I am sat down but I do think it is a nice feature to the dress. I paired this with a mint blazer (from new look, last week for £25.99-£29.99 not exactly sure) and my cream shoes (from top shop, about five years ago) with a ruffle at the bottom where my toes would be. The blazer is very comfy really brightens up the dress as admittedly I love wearing this dress in winter too with a pair of thick tights and a cardigan or a leather jacket. My shoes are very comfy for work I am on my feet all day so it's nice to be able to wear a small heal I am comfortable in and I think it really ties this look together. Would look great with some chunky jewelry but I can't wear a lot at work as I don't want to damage it when handling heavy goods.

May do some other work outfits think it's always good to see what other people are wearing for inspiration. And to help bring ideas to your own looks.

Today's Eyeliner is Maybelline New York's, Long Lasting Gel Eyeliner. I have this in two colours one being the obvious one being black and the other colour is a purple colour called Eggplant.

I really liked this gel liner in the black, it is very creamy, pigmented and it does last all day, the only issue I did find with it was the fact it actually did smudge although it says it doesn't. The best way to stop any gel liner from smudging (I always do this no matter what the make is, unless i'm testing it.) I set the gel with a light covering of eye shadow that matches the colour of the gel, this prevents any smudging and sometimes can add quite a nice effect if you use one with sparkles.

I loved the colour of this it was so vibrant and after trying the black I had high hopes for the eggplant colour... unfortunately i was faced with disappointment. The gel was very had to work with, it was still very pigmented and it didn't smudge without a eye shadow setting it. i had to use a lot of the product to get the thick look i wanted this wasn't because it lacked pigment it was because it just was so dry once it was on the brush, when it should of just glided across my eyelid I found i had to really pack the product on the brush and had to be a little rough.

Once on it does last all day, this does NOT smudge but does was off easily with a eye makeup remover so you are not going to damage you skin rubbing it off.
what I do really like about these product is that you can use them on your water line and your tight line, this looks great if you want a really dramatic look but since I wear this for work day to day i try to keep it pretty basic.

I really do like this finished look with the Eggplant colour but I would not buy it again, I felt it was just to much work for what is supposed to be a simple twist on a quick and easy look. If you did want to try it I bought mine from boots for £7.99 but I would recommend trying the black gel liner, easy to use if you aren't confident enough to use liquid plus i feel when you use gel liners it softens your eyes.

Coloured eye liners

I am going to be trialling liquid and gel liners in different colours today we are starting with Bourjois liquid liner in the colour Electro Blue

First thoughts from looking, I had my fingers crossed that the liner it self would be as blue as the packaging. I did like the size of it, this made it easy to hold while applying.

It had great consistence and look at that colour!!! It is the same as the packaging!!!
I like the brush I prefer brushes apply better than a sponge nib, when I use a sponge I always find I can never create a good winged affect.

This applies really nice with just one coat, I did touch up in places where I felt the colour was even but that's no biggy.

I really like this liner and look forward to buying it in different colours, I slept in it and it didnt budge!!! Out of five stars I give it 4.5 because I found it Staines for a couple of washed of my face and this is a problem if you make mistakes while apply as it is leave blue streaks where you have tried to remove it but if you have nailed it while applying it look fantastic and really adds a little more to a simple winged liner effect. Ps I am wearing clothes it's just a strapless dress :)

Next I will review a purple gel liner from Maybelline New York post. Hope you enjoyed this, you stay class internet.

Fallen off the face of the earth.

So I start my blog, we was doing well. Got posts up regularly then I started to move. Once in my house it was all cool, I posted, I was taking photos for my blog but it all sort of died. I didn't have the internet and was using my three G and there was so much stuff going on to even consider writing anything. I am ready again now to start a fresh.

So here is a brief update of everything that has gone on in the last couple of months.

I went to the hull fashion week with two other bloggers Lucy jane and makeup by Re Re (who happens to be my sister) my and Lucy got our eye brow done there which is always quite fun.

I also bought two new foundations which I need to review, one of them being benifits bb cream that everyone is raving about.

Luna came into her first season, so she has been a sad little puppy and all us ladies can feel her pain... She is in season for THREE WEEKS!!!
So I have been spoiling her.

I had a cocktail party which was really fun to get some of the girlies round

My friend and her cat moved in.

And after having fun at my sisters in a hot tub

I decided to buy my own....

I couldn't afford it so I bought a paddling pool instead. Luna likes it though so that's all good.

Think that's it for a life update. I will post makeup today also.

Bellápierre cosmetics

So finally all moved! When moving you always find things that you forgot you had or in my case didn't realise I had.
So after packing 80 pairs of shoes, nearly acquiring a pet duck and unpacking in the new house me and luna (my dog) just had to take a few days out of the blogging world to get sorted and settled in.

Now all my makeup, hair products and clothes are away I can get back to reviews, outfits of the day and when ever else I put on here.

So let's starts. We are reviewing to eyeshadow a from Bellápierre cosmetics.

I like the packaging on these, they are very cute and are tough so they are not going to crack or smash and end up having a draw full of eyeshadow(not in a good way).

The first colour I tested was Harmony, which looked like a taupe colour in the pot but when applied it was move goldie brown.
When I have swatches I have show you with and without a eyeshadow base, the left swatch on my hand is using an eyeshadow base and the right is without. As you can see this created a completely different colour but I do like how they both look and how they went on it was very pigmented.

The next colour was Noir which is a black (obviously), for me this must go on a shadow base to get good colour pay off.
It wasn't as pigmented as Harmony but it did apply nicely again and I didn't use a lot when swatching.

I would buy this again in different colours. I think they do bright colours, I would be all over them as they blend beautifully but it depends how pigmented they are aswell.

I don't think these shadows are badly priced at around £12.99 for a good product.
